Experience and Awards

Ms. Gould opened her own law office in Bath in 1980. Prior to that she was the attorney for the Steuben County Department of Social Services from 1978 to 1983 and was associated with another attorney in private practice from 1975 to 1980.

In addition to representing adults in her private practice, she serves as an Attorney for children and received the Michael F. Dillon Law Guardian Award for the 7th Judicial District in 2000 for outstanding advocacy on behalf of children.

Ms. Gould served as an arbitrator for the 3rd and 4th Department Attorney Fee Arbitration Program from 1993 to 2001.

She is a Pro Bono Consultant to the Southern Tier Volunteer Lawyers Project from 1997 to present.
